You Take Too Long

Early to sleep, early to wake,
Makes a person
Wise, bright, and great.

Late to sleep, late to wake,
Is what you do -
But I'm willing to wait.

    Early to sleep, early to rise;
    the early bird gets all the worms and flies.
    Now I believe they're not all lies,
    but rather words from the wise.
    From this I infer and surmise
    that the late sleeper meets the early demise.
